I’m hosting an event outside of Melbourne in Shepparton, can you travel here with your bar?
Brixton Bar Co. service Victoria-wide, if we are required to travel outside of Melbourne Metropolitan a small travel fee is charged.
I would like our bar tab to cover beer and wine for our guests but if they would like to purchase spirits or cocktails, can they do so?
Of course, we are very flexible with the beverage offering you wish to provide at your event. We can restrict certain beverages from your bar tab and still have those restricted beverages available for guests to purchase at their own expense with cash or EFTPOS.
Does our venue require power and water for the bar?
The bar is simply plug and play. We prefer to have power access (all that is required is a 12amp power outlet) but understand sometimes power isn’t available, so a generator can be used. Water access is preferred but not required, as the bar has built in tanks. A site map is required for licencing and insurance purposes prior to the event. Infrastructure requirements are disccused with our event director propr to the event and included in our teams run sheet for the day.
Can our guests BYO to the event?
Due to strict licencing regulations set by VCGLR, beverages can only be supplied and served by Brixton Bar Co. Our team all practice the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Brixton Bar Co supplies insurance for our service, this does not cover BYO.
Do you offer packages?
We don’t offer drink packages as we personalise each quote based around your requirements for your event and it’s guests.
I would like cocktails on arrival and then again with dessert? Is this possible?
Cocktails on arrival are very popular and are easily managed by our team on the day. All these details are discussed prior to the event and put into our teams run sheet for the event.
I just want my bridal party to access spirits? How does this work?
We can easily set up a system that identifies guests you wish to expand specific beverage access too. We can issue wristbands, a stamp or even a fun codeword for the event. All these details are discussed prior to the event and put into our teams run sheet for the event.
We have kids attending the event? Do you serve soft drinks?
We offer a range of non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
Is glassware included with your service?
In accordance with our licencing and insurance, glass isn’t permitted. We do use high quality biodegradable plastic glasses. Including flutes, red and white wine glasses, etc.
Do you offer table service?
We don’t offer table service for our events, but we have a local service provider who we often work with to make this possible.
How many staff will work for my event?
Staffing numbers are based on the amount of guests at the event. We ensure that we have enough team members for the event service and breaks during the event.
You don’t stock my favourite beverage, can you get it for me?
Of course, we will work with our suppliers to get our hands on your favourite drink. If we can’t, we will do our best to get something similar.
How do I know what time drink service will start for my event?
Prior to your event, our event director will have a final run sheet confirmed by you which both our team and you will have a signed copy.
